This project involved working with a local property developer HannaB Designs, who specialize in one off house designs in Beaconsfield. Their brief required me to design an elegant modern garden both to the front and rear of the property, which would complement this new build.

A large patio of Millboard Composite Decking picture framed with limestone paving, is set flush with the internal floor level for a smooth transition from house to garden.  A rendered fireplace with integral seating and space for log storage provides a cosy spot to enjoy late summer evenings.  Wide steps lead down to a large rectangular lawn which is framed by borders of Pleached Pyrus Chanticleer with herbaceous underplanting, and limestone paths.

A rendered new wall with Pleached Quercus Ilex and Corten Steel wall panels, mask an ugly boundary and screen a neighbouring house.

Within the front garden, a large sweeping SureSet Resin Bound driveway has been designed around the existing large beech trees, which all have Tree Protection Orders on them. The planting scheme is understated and simple with topiary half standards of Ligustrum jonandrum and underplanted with Nepeta Walkers Low and Stipa tennuissima. Bespoke Western Red Cedar fencing offers an alternative boundary solution.

The design, both front and back is fully irrigated and lit.
