Liz created a great garden design for us last year – the first draft was perfect, just a few tweaks and the finished design for our front, side and back garden was exactly what we had hoped for. We had inherited an uninspiring neglected garden with broken down paths, scrubby grass and no colour – it made the house, which was only 15 years old, look awful. The new design with the lovely planting, toning paths and brickwork, wooden railings and the lighting have transformed the look of the house totally and given it a real wow factor. Liz totally understood from the outset what we were looking for from our new driveway and back patio. For the drive we were keen to lay a resin bound surface which would complement the character of the house and include a design which gave us an optimal amount of driveway without compromising on the front garden. The design phase included an indepth meeting to discuss all aspects of our aspirations and needs and then the following week Liz prepared detailed drawings and planting plans to give us a real feel of her vision. Liz has a “can do” attitude to match all your requirements but also a great knowledge as to what will work and what is the best approach given her years of experience. We felt that Liz knew all the latest design ideas and products in terms of patio stone and finishes so that saved us an enormous amount of time researching as we were confident with all her choices.
We are thrilled with the end product. We have a driveway which has made a huge difference to our daily life and our back garden patio has opened up our garden giving us seclusion on the patio in addition to the space to entertain and enjoy a seating area, dining area and even an area for summer games of ping pong!
